  • The article considers the iron ore mining project in Western Australia financed by Roy Hill Holdings as a global precedent for limited recourse financing for mining projects. Figure presented shows the amount of limited completion guarantee provided by Roy Hill Holdings to support the construction project. The advantage of hiring only one engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for lenders is noted.
