  • The article focuses on an increase in prosecutions and penalties involving fraud and bribery around the world in 2013 as a result of a closer cooperation among law enforcement authorities. Topics discussed include the contraction of the disclosure gap between regulated and unregulated entities in the U.S., the expanding power of authorities to act across borders, and the growing number of local anti-corruption and bribery regimes.
