  • The article discusses the need for transparency in payment-in-kind (PIK) documentation to ensure accurate assessment deals. Topics discussed during an Association for Financial Markets in Europe conference include some factors that forced investors to seek confirmation from issuers in determining when the coupon with switch from cash-pay to PIK-pay and investors' agreement that the PIK market still needs maturity.
