  • The article discusses some of the regulations on privatization through selective capital reduction (SCR) schemes in Malaysia. Topics covered include the capital reductions in SCR privatization under the Companies Act 1965, and the requirements for the privatization of public companies under the Malaysian Code on Take-Overs and Mergers 2010.
