The article discusses the changes to consumer protection regulations that are introduced by the implementation of the Distance Selling Act in the Slovak Republic. These include the extension of the time period for canceling a purchase contract from seven days to 14 days, the imposition of new requirements for sellers and organizers of high pressure sales events, and the obligations for the sellers with regards to sale goods or telephone sales.
