  • The article discusses a survey conducted by the Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (SA) about the level of corporate governance in the private and public sectors in SA for the 12 months ended August 2014. Topics covered include the lack of focus of corporations on the management of external risk, the role of the skills shortage in the decline in leadership with many firms, and the attitude of the 600 respondents towards compliance with regulations.
