  • The article offers information related to financial regulations in many countries of Asia Pacific. Topics discussed include impact of the 1997 Asian financial crisis on Asian corporates, rules issued by the Bank Indonesia in October 2014 for avioding severe credit crisis as experiences in 1997 and impact of the rules of Bank Indonesia on financial services industry of Indonesia. It is noted that new rules require corporates to hedge their external commercial borrowings.
