  • The article presents opinion of Abhhjit Mukhopadhay, general counsel of Hinduja Group, on reasons for decreased investment into most promising markets of Africa, as revealed at an International Bar Association (IBA) event in London, England in Februry 2015. Mukhopadhay said that political instability in most of the African countries is the most prominenet reason for holding back investments. He also said that bilateral investment treaties (BIT) are not able to ease the situation.
