  • An editorial associated with preliminary hearing of a U.S. short seller called Citron Research in a Hong Kong tribunal is presented. Topics discussed include details of the case, which alleged that Citron published a misleading report about Evergrande Real Estate Group, the fourth biggest developer of China, in 2012; the practice of pursuing wrongdoing of target companies and short selling strategies of firms. It also discusses reports related to corporate governance published in the issue.
