  • The article discusses issues related to economic reforms in the aftermath of the global financial crisis. Topics discused include problem of regulatory overload for corporate and financial institutions, new powers given to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under Dodd-Frank Act and need to upgrade technology in SEC to help cut cost in the long run. It also discusses challeanges faced by banking regulators and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in the aftermath of crisis.
