Resumen de Philippines: : Complaints mechanism concerns.

• The article offers information related to the enactment of the Government Procurement Reform Act (GPRA) in the Philippines. It is noted that all stages of procurement of infrastructure projects, goods, and consulting services in the govenment is covered by the GPRA. Topics dicussed include pros and cons of GPRA, need for an effective recourse system to preserve the integrity of public procurement and ensure transparency in procurement process and measures put in Congress to amend the GPRA.
