  • The article discusses issues on regulation of subordinated debt of Nydia Guevara Banks in Peru. Topics discussed include regulation of subordinated debt and its impact on regulatory capital under the Basel II standards, characteristics of typical subordinated debt instruments issued by Peruvian banks in the last six years and need to change existing rules to Basel 3 standards in the nation.
