  • The article discusses data from the journal's UK 200 study which indicates that not all mergers and acquisitions (M&As) and tie-ups (partnerships) involving British law firms create better balance sheets for companies. Legal market strategist Alan Hodgart's views about the economic environment, mergers, and market confidence in Great Britain are examined.
