The literature covering organizational culture is broad and there are many angles and perspectives, different fields of study, schools of thoughts, and theories covering the subject. In this entry, organizational culture is first described through the historical influences with some general definitions and categorizations. Furthermore, organizational culture is described from an information and knowledge perspective, giving information resources a cultural dimension. Finally organizational culture is presented in the library context and some reflections on the assessment of organizational culture are given
