This research was performed at Santa Rosa ranch located on a humid tropic in the southwest region of Táchira State, Venezuela, with Brahman heifers kept on pasture, supplemented with minerals and submitted to 45-days-breeding season beginning on march the first (E) vs conventional 90-days starting on april the first (C), to evaluate the growth performance of their calves. Least-squares analysis of variance on birth (PN, n = 210) and weaning (P205, n = 183) weights were performed including: Treatment (T:E,C) and calf’s year of birth (A: 1985,86,...93). sire (P:1,2,...,27) and sex (S:M,H). Adjusted means for PN and P205 were 28.9 ± 0.7 and 154.7 ± 2.5 kg, respectively. PN was affected by A (P
