To assess the reproductive and productive stage of a dual purpose herd (meat-milk) in bad drained savanna plains, Guárico State, Venezuela, one farm (206 ha) were monitored, with 70 zebu cows, fed with diet based on mainly native forage shrubs and crop residues (corn and bean).
