One thousand one hundred seventy three records of births of a buffaloes herd were studied in order to evaluate calving seasonalilty (EP) percentage aforesaid in a very dry tropical environment. It was used a variance analysis and following factors were considered: Enviromental: Years (Y): 1991 (A1); 92 (A2); 93 (A3); 94 (A4); 95 (A5) and 96 (A6); seasons (E): January-April= E1; May-August= E2 and September-December= E3; climatology condition (CC): [temperature (T), precipitation (Pr), humidity (Hr) and hours of daylight (Hl).
