Resumen de PF 04. Nitrogen fertilization in small grain pastures from the subhumid pampean region, Argentina
Nitrogen deficiency limites small winter grain pastures production at the subhumid pampean region (Argentine). This study was developed at EEA INTA “Gral.Villegas” between 1994 and 1996. Oat, triticale and rye grass were fertilized at seeding with urea (50 kg N ha-1). The results shows that the three crops supported a higher stocking rate and increased meat production, only at the first grazing period (May-June).
