A experiment was accomplished to evaluate the effect of the multinutritional block (MB), on the reproductive and productive behaviour of 42 dual purpose cows, grazing Trachypogon sp. A group with prevailing zebu crossbreds (ZC) and other with European crossbreds (EC), were randomly assigned in four treatments: T1: ZC and T2: EC, with commercial minerals, T3 and T4 equal to T1 and T2 but with MB of whole cotton seed (Gossypium hirsutum). The experiment had a duration of 94 days and was evaluated of 0 to 51 (P1), of 52 to 94 (P2) and 0 to 94 days (TP). The consumption of MB was 294, 432 and 355 g./animal/day during P1, P2 and TP, respectively. The live weight changes in the three periods showed differences (P
