Clickers in Action, a new book describing the practical aspects of using classroom response systems for general chemistry courses, is reviewed. The work reviewed covers the basic background of clicker use, then proceeds with general best-practices advice, followed by an extensive set of example questions which comprise the bulk of the book. Extensions to in-class demonstrations are also included.
