Resumen de Exploration of Solid-Supported Reactions with Gold Nanoparticles

• A set of two laboratory experiments demonstrating application of solid-supported reactions in the field of nanotechnology is described. After learning basic techniques of solid-phase synthesis, students apply the acquired skills to the polymer-supported functionalization of gold nanoparticles. These experiments became part of the polymer workshop, conducted by the Northern Plains Undergraduate Research Center (NPURC) in May 2009.
