La reciente absolución de Zidane por el TAD ha abierto un debate acerca de la procedencia o no de la misma. En el presente artículo se analizan los motivos que llevaron al referido tribunal a estimar el recurso interpuesto por los sancionados, así como una serie de cuestiones no resueltas que afectan directamente al fondo del asunto planteado. Esto es, si Zinedine Yazid Zidane contaba o no con una titulación suficiente para ejercer como primer entrenador del Real Madrid Castilla, en el eventual supuesto de que se considerase que efectivamente ha venido ejerciendo las funciones correspondientes a dicho cargo.

The recent acquittal of Zidane by the TAD has opened a debate about the origin of the same. This article analyses the reasons that led that court to estimate the action brought by the sanctioned, as well as a number of unresolved issues that directly affect the merits of the case. That is if Zinedine Yazid Zidane had or not a sufficient qualification to practice as head coach of Real Madrid Castilla, in the possible event that is considered to have been effectively exercised the functions corresponding to said position.
