  • This letter to the editor makes several suggestions to a recent classroom activity connection. These recommendations include: using a yellow filter to extend the activity; amending the description of vitamin B tablet fluorescence to say the tablet must include vitamin B-2; suggesting that shortwave UV light will be better than longwave UV for some minerals and stamps; and recommending use of polycarbonate safety glasses to offer some protection even for longwave UV.
