Abstract Objective: with the theoretical support of the proposal of human care of Jean Watson the object of study-evidences of the application of the Process Clinical Caritas in the scientific communications of Brazilian nurses is presented. In this direction, it is had as objective to identify to the application of Process Clinical Caritas (PCC) in taking care of in nursing, considering the conceptual elements of this theory. Method: descriptive study, through the analysis of content of scientific works, of 2000-2008, using the human care theory. Results: three thematic categories had been delimited, being distinguished: To take care of in nursing is - To be with the client, helping to grow it, to ripen and to assume its proper way, meeting I exactly obtain. Conclusion: the development of the PCC contributes in the qualification of the nurse in the confrontation of the situations of the life/to die of the clients to its cares. In the study if it identified one to take care of revealing the art human being of the nursing and characterizing intentional modalities of care - reconstitution. Its qualification in these modalities is suggested.

RESUMO Objetivo: com o apoio teórico da proposta de cuidado humano de Jean Watson apresenta-se o objeto de estudo-evidências da aplicação do Process Clinical Caritas (PCC) nas comunicações científicas de enfermeiros brasilenos. Nesse sentido, tem-se como objetivo identificar a aplicación do Process Clinical Caritas no cuidar em enfermagem, considerando os elementos conceituais dessa teoria. Método: estudo descritivo, através da análise de conteúdo de teses e dissertações, do período 2000-2008, utilizando o referencial do cuidado humano. Resultados: foram delimitadas três categorias temáticas, destacando-se : Cuidar em enfermagem é - Ser com o cliente, ajudando-o a crescer, amadurecer e assumir seu próprio caminho, encontrando-se consigo mesmo. Conclusão: o desenvolvimento do PCC contribui na qualificação da enfermeira no enfrentamento das situações do viver/morrer dos clientes aos seus cuidados. No estudo se identificou um cuidar manifestando a arte humana da enfermagem e caracterizando modalidades intencionais de cuidado – reconstituição. Sugere-se sua capacitação nessas modalidades.
