Resumen de A Monte Carlo Simulation for a Uniform Ladder of Energy Levels:: Statistical Thermodynamic Properties
Monte Carlo (MC) computer programs are useful for simulating processes that occur randomly in nature, handling problems in which fluctuations are important, or investigating problems that are mathematically intractable. A simple MC method is employed here that can be carried out by undergraduate physical chemistry students. The MC method illustrates several important concepts of statistical mechanics.
