Resumen de A Monte Carlo Simulation for a Uniform Ladder of Energy Levels:: Statistical Thermodynamic Properties

S. Bluestone

  • Monte Carlo (MC) computer programs are useful for simulating processes that occur randomly in nature, handling problems in which fluctuations are important, or investigating problems that are mathematically intractable. A simple MC method is employed here that can be carried out by undergraduate physical chemistry students. The MC method illustrates several important concepts of statistical mechanics.
