Resumen de Concepcions sobre la relació entre transtorn mental i perillositat: implicacions en la pràctica psicològica

  Aquest article es basa en el treball de recerca anomenat Concepcions sobre la relació entre trastorn mental i perillositat i les seues implicacions, en la pràctica psicològica. Antecedents: alguns psicòlegs i psiquiatres suposen que hi ha una associació entre trastorn mental i perillositat. L'objectiu de la present recerca és confrontar aquesta associació, a partir de la revisió de diverses publicacions. Mètode: documental teòric, de tipus monogràfic, sota un enfocament historicohermenèutic, de disseny qualitatiu; es van prendre textos dels autors representatius de les escoles psicològiques humanista, cognitiva, dinàmica i psicoanàlisi, estudis sobre la perillositat i la seua relació amb els «sabers psi» entre d'altres.

  Resultats: Es va trobar que no hi ha evidències teòriques o de recerca que sustenten una relació entre el trastorn mental i la perillositat. Conclusions: la relació establerta és deguda a imaginaris socials que han estat generats i sostinguts per posicions basades en la por i les creences.

  This article is based on research called Conceptions about the Relationship between Mental Disorder and Dangerousness and their Implications for Psychological Practice. Review: some psychologists and psychiatrists have the suppose that is an association between mental disorder and dangerousness.

  The aim of this paper is to confront that association based on a review different publications. Method: theoretical documentary, monographic, with an historical-hermeneutic approach, and qualitative design; texts were taken from representative authors of the psychological schools, including the: humanistic, cognitive, dynamic and psychoanalysis, besides, dangerousness studies and their relationship to the «psi knowledges» among others.

  Results: It was found that there are not theoretical or investigative evidence to support a relationship between mental disorder and dangerousness. Conclusions: the relationship between mental disorder and dangerousness is due to social imaginaries that have been generated and sustained by positions based on fear and on beliefs.
