  • Resumen
    • This paper describes the characteristics of tin oxide semiconductor gas sensors, presents readout circuits including methods of interfacing them to computers (especially with LIMSport software), and suggests several experiments suitable for educational laboratories. Use of the sensor as the detector in an inexpensive gas chromatograph, as a means of detecting low levels of vapors diffusing through balloons and plastic films, and in environmental monitoring are suggested.
