  • Resumen
    • The need for a short descriptive statement that expresses the essence of what chemists do often presents itself to educators. Here this is done through the use of R. I. P. I., an acronym for React, Isolate, Purify, and Identify. R. I. P. I. refers to the four fundamental processes that are regularly taught to students enrolled in introductory chemistry courses. For some students these processes are part of their laboratory training to be a chemist.
