El sentido de la historia y del hecho histórico en el razonar filosófico

    Este artículo presenta una reflexión en torno a la relación filosofía e historia. Usa los aportes de autores como Ortega y Gasset, Carr, Russel y Jaspers para mostrar la imposibilidad de pensar la historia desde una perspectiva que sólo considere los hechos históricos como acontecimientos neutros. El autor sostiene que la historia no puede extraerse de un contexto social en el cual se encuentra implicada la mentalidad y, por tanto, la posibilidad de interpretación; la historia se debe entender como el resultado de un sinnúmero de interpretaciones construidas socialmente. Del mismo modo, muestra que el hecho histórico es el “motor” del razonamiento filosófico.

    This paper presents a reflection on the relation between philosophy and history. It uses the contributions of author as Ortega and Gasset, Carr, Russel and Jaspers in order to show the impossibility of thinking history since a simple factorial perspective, which only considers the historical fact as a neutral event. The author argues that history can´t be extracted from a social context in which a mentality is implicated and, therefore, the possibility of interpretation; the history should be understood as the result of a great deal of socially-built interpretations. As well, it shows that the historical event is themotor of the philosophical reasoning.
