  • The article offers the authors comment on the paper "Labor Force Participation: Recent Developments and Future Prospects" by Stephanie Aaronson and colleagues. The author says that Aaronson and her colleagues tackle the question on how much of the decline in labor-force participation is the result of the slack labor market from the great recession. He says that it is useful to have an interplay model of the labor-market slackness and participation to understand the issues the paper considers
