Resumen de Análisis crítico del discurso de la representación intercultural en la prensa chilena

  Este trabajo, a modo de objetivo general, pretende analizar desde la comunicación y el periodismo intercultural, la presentación y re-presentación de la diferencia mapuche, peruana y boliviana en la prensa chilena. Los medios objeto de estudio —seleccionados por su periodicidad y cobertura— son los diarios sensacionalistas La Cuarta y Las Últimas Noticias que, a su vez y respectivamente, pertenecen a los consorcios que duopolizan la entrega informativa a nivel nacional: Copesa y El Mercurio S.A.P. Para realizar este análisis se proyecta una matriz metodológica, derivada de la propuesta de Teun van Dijk denominada Análisis Crítico del Discurso (ACD), que permitirá comprender la construcción social de la realidad, a partir de los tratamientos noticiosos en y de las posibles relaciones interculturalesmigratorias intra (mapuche) y extra (peruana y boliviana) del país.

  This paper has, as its main goal, to analyse the presentation and re-presentation of the Mapuche, Peruvian and Bolivian difference in the Chilean press. The media which will be the object of the study —selected because of its periodicity and extensive coverage— are the tabloid press “La Cuarta” and “Las Últimas Noticias” which in turn and respectively belong to the consortia which duopolise the informative issue at a national level: Copesa and El Mercurio S.A.P. In order to carry out this analysis a methodological matrix has been projected, and which is derived from the proposal by Teun van Dijk, the so called Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). This will allow the reader to understand the social construction of reality based on the news treatment in and of the possible intercultural-migratory relationships inside (Mapuche) and outside (Peruvian-Bolivian) the country.
