Resumen de Sistema silvolpastoril en la cabecera de cuenca del Río Chancay (Perú)

Se analizó el sistema silvopastoral en la cabecera de cuenca del río Chancay (Perú), ubicado en el noreste de la provincia de Huaral, 11°11’39’’ de latitud sur y 76°46’53’’ de longitud noroeste, con una altitud superior a 3000 msnm, ocupando una extensión de 1324670 km2. El estudio se realizó mediante un diseño no experimental, utilizando la metodología inductiva y deductiva en la evaluación in situ del sistema silvopastoral, llegando a la conclusión de que es un sistema sostenible, dada su mejora ecológica y conservación, por lo tanto, proveerá a la ganadería de proteína, energía y demás nutrientes y mejorará la calidad de vida de la población. Este modelo, puede ser aplicado en este territorio y también a nivel nacional. Se fundamenta en la dimensión pragmática que propone integrar la agricultura, ganadería, ecosistemas y territorio, en unas condiciones de clima de alta montaña tropical heterogéneo, ubicado entre las regiones Suní, de Quechua y Puna, el cual es ideal para el crecimiento de una enorme variedad de plantas, cultivos, animales, etc.

The silvopastoral system was analyzed at the head of the river basin Chancay (Peru) which is located in the northeast of the province of Huaral, among 11°11'39’’ south latitude and 76°46'53’’ longitude northeast at an altitude above 3000 m covering an area of 1324670 km2. The study was performed through non-experimental design, using inductive and deductive methodology in evaluating in situ of silvopastoral system, reaching the conclusion from a system that works sustainable, will improve the ecology and ecosystem conservation, therefore, provide both energy and protein livestock and other nutrients and improving population quality of life. The goal is to be a model that can be applied in this territory and livestock nationwide, which is based from the pragmatic dimension which aims to integrate agriculture, ecosystems and the territory under the conditions of high mountain climate tropical varied, located between the Sunni regions, Quechua and Puna places, which is ideal for the growth of a huge variety of plants, crops, animals, etc.
