    Saber que libertad y necesidad se oponen es poco útil. La libertad no es carencia de determinaciones, ni de límites en la acción, ni hacer lo conveniente. Su idea se enraiza en el mito griego de que el hombre fue creado sin las habilidades especializadas de los animales y debió crear su propia manera de ser y vivir.

    Knowing that freedom and necessity are opposed to each other is of little use. Freedom is not the lack of detemination, nor is it limilations on action, noris it doing what is not convenient. The idea of freedom has it is origin in ihe Greek myth, according to which man mas created without the specialized abilities of the animals and  had to create his own way of being and living.The subject is determinedby the environment as well as by man's own organism. Being free implies choosing, among the many extenal determinations which are simultaneously present, those that are most efficient, toward the aim of maximising life quality. This can be achieved due to the great capacity of the human brain and the high level of conscience and information which characterizes the individual human being.
