    A principios del siglo XIX el Virreinato del Río de la Plata vivió dos sucesos históricos que cambiarían para siempre la Historia de este territorio: las Invasiones Inglesas y los procesos de independencia que la llevarían a emanciparse de su metrópoli. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo fundamental  recuperar la figura femenina en estos acontecimientos y poner de manifiesto la relevancia que la labor de estas féminas en dichos hitos. Se pretende observar su participación en éstos, su influencia y su peso. Mediante el rastreo documental y bibliográfico, se procura una novedosa aportación documental, revalorizando la figura femenina y su participación en los procesos Independentistas en el área rioplatense. No se puede ignorar la figura de la mujer pensando que fue únicamente una simple espectadora. Éstas también fueron protagonistas y vivieron en primera persona dichos sucesos, olvidadas por el paso de la Historia.

    In the early nineteenth century the Viceroyalty of the River Plate lived two historical events that would forever change the history of this territory: The British invasions and independence processes that lead to the emancipation of their metropolis. This research has as main objective to recover the female figure in these events and highlight the relevance of the work of these females in these milestones. Aims to highlight their participation in Here, its influence and weight. By tracking the documentary and bibliographical, documentary seeks a novel contribution, revaluing the feminine figure and your participation in the Independents processes in the River Plate area.
