Resumen de Una tipología de la población estudiantil universitaria

El objeto del artículo es estudiar los perfiles de la población estudiantil universitaria y la mejor manera de abordarlo no podía ser otra que dándoles la palabra a los protagonistas. Así, en este trabajo se ha pretendido delimitar el fenómeno social del “oficio de estudiante” en la universidad española, aportando una modesta contribución a la sociología de la educación superior. Ha sido posible esclarecer cuales son los principales perfiles de la población estudiantil, comprender cómo ejercen el oficio de estudiante, qué tipo de vinculación mantienen con el estudio y cómo van a afectarles los cambios venideros.

The aim of this article is to study the profile of the university population and the best way to prompt it could not be other than allowing the protagonists to speak. Therefore, the intention of this study was to mark out the social phenomenon of the “occupation of being a student” in the Spanish University, modestly contributing to the sociology of high education. It was possible to clarify which are the main profiles within the student population, to understand how theypractice their occupation as students, what type of bonds they maintain with their studies and how they are going to be affected by the forthcoming changes.
