En un trabajo anterior, « Imágenes de la esvástica en el arte popular » , veíamos cómo la esvásti - ca curva sufrió muchas variaciones al incorporar motivos falciformes y espirales. Ahora vamos a ver cómo también asimiló la burbuja, figura de origen muy antiguo que se convirtió en mo - tivo decorativo de primer orden en el gótico tardío. El arte popular asimiló las posibilidades ornamentales, tanto empleada como motivo independiente, como componente de distintos tipos de vórtice, entre ellos la esvástica conocida como cruz de burbujas

In a previous work, « Imágenes de la esvástica en el arte popular » (Images of the swastika in the folk art), we saw how the curved swastika it suffered many variations on having incorporated sickle-shaped and spirals patterns.
