  Theodore Millon desenvolveu uma teoria de aprendizagem biopsicossocial e de personalidade patológica, por meio do estabelecimento de categorias da personalidade através de deduções formais. Este artigo discute os principais pontos da teoria de Millon sobre Personalidade, já que seu modelo conjuga teoria com avaliação e intervenção, o que implia a relevância para a investigação científica integrada na clínica psicológica. A teoria de Millon observa outras áreas do conhecimento, complementares a Psicologia, o que reforça a noção de ser humano enquanto sistema, integrado por subsistemas (biológico, psicológico, social e cultural), em um contexto de interação permanente.

  Theodore Millon developed a learning biopsicossocial’s theory and pathology personality’s theory, by means of the personality categories establishment through formal deducations. This article aims the main points of the Millon’s Personality theory, joining the model’s theory with assessment and intervention, extending the scientific investigation relevance in the psychological clinic. Millon’s theory observe differents theoretical models of knowledge’s area complementary to the Psychology, this reinforce the notion of human being while a system, integrated for subsystems (biological, psychological, social and cultural) in a permanent interaction context.
