La enseñanza del derecho en Veracruz: 1825‐2007

    En esta conferencia se sintetizan trabajos de investigación sobre el tema, ya publicados en libros, que por estar agotadas las ediciones, es difícil consultar.

    Incluye reglamentación sobre: ejercicio de la profesión, exámenes de abogados y escribanos, requisitos para examinarse de abogado, expedición de título, planes de estudio, federales y estatales, instituciones educativas del estado, creación de la Escuela de Derecho del Estado, su modificación a Facultad Jurídica y luego Facultad de Derecho, edificios en donde ha estado establecida, una breve mención al primer director, Manuel Aparicio Güido, relación de directores de 1920 a 2007 y creación de posgrados. Esa información se clasifica en dos periodos, la primera en el siglo XIX y la segunda en los siglos XX y XXI.

    This article summarizes a vast amount of information that comes from previous research, already in print. The text deals with rules and regulations concerning legal practice, examinations of lawyers and scriveners as well as expedition of degrees and patents. Curricula of both federal and local programs are covered too, with particular emphasis on those of the school of law –under its two denominations, Facultad Jurídica and Facultad de Derecho- and its succesive locations. Besides, the author makes a brief reference to Manuel Aparicio Güido, the fist headmaster of the school, and mentions also the list of all de headmasters since 1920. Likewise, she comments on the recent institutional developments that established post-graduate studies on law in Veracruz. The abovesaid information is arranged in two chronological periods: the first one which covers the nineteenth century and the other one covering the past and the present centuries.
