  • Resumen
    • Usually we, teachers, act as if we could avoid questions like: "what is a lesson?", "which is the difference between talking two, or more, human beings and reading, maybe the same or similar contents in a book or on line?", "does it exist a great difference between high school, college and university?" , or "what should be taught first, as ground of the rest, and what next?" My point of view is the answers, or not answers, to these questions imply very important philosophical decisions.

Ignoring them would carry consequences in the whole process of growing and education. In some sense, we suffer in our job, day by day, the pressure from factors so modern such as scientific specialization, work division or political elitism. Anyway, we don't pay enough attention to use the legacy of philosophical tradition. Here, instead, I try to demonstrate how scarcely helpful is the tendency of continuous moving away and growing separating between formal, natural, human or social Sciences and Philosophy. Even when speaking of practical issues in business, politics, human relationships or everyday life. I intend to explain the need of philosophy above all, to fight against bureaucracy which gradually leaves its role as a means to serve theoretically our aims, and becomes master itself.
