Resumen de Ética y psicología: Mamá, ¿por qué no puedo decidir?

Hannah is a girl of fourteen of age. She had a strange leukemia and she needed a heart transplantation because of leukemia. But she didn�t accept it and the health authorities wanted to remove the custody of parents of Hannah in order to forcer her to receive treatment. Why? This case shows the classic problem of autonomy principle. We want look for the causes the this problem. We think that these reasons are: first, the education; second, it�s possible that the development of the prefrontal cortex may be a criterion of maturity; third, is not it possible that the principialist bioethics can be good for medical activity?; and fourth, are we sure that the philosophers have dealt this problem properly? Isn�t it possible that the real problem is related to positive liberty?
