  • This article will discuss two quattrini produced by the mint in Milan under Maria Theresa of Austria around 1750. The purpose of this article will be to reclassify them as patterns and not as circulation issues as it is now widely believed.Evidence based on die studies, images and the historical and monetary context of the times will be provided to support our theory.
