    En las tres últimas décadas la cuestión del acontecimiento ha tomado fuerza en el horizonte intelectual. Lo que se percibe es la idea común de que nuestra época y su noción "tiempo"; ya sea narrativa, mediática, epistemológica, conceptual o historiográfica, está atravesando por una transformación. Este ensayo pretende describir de forma general el estado de la cuestión de esta discusión referida de manera particular a la historiografía. En concreto, se aboca a mostrar los diferentes momentos en que la noción de acontecimiento ha sido usada, rechazada o reinterpretada como distinción para hacer observaciones del pasado. La revisión va desde la historiografía positiva del siglo XIX hasta la historia cultural. El interés de este ensayo radica en entender algunas de las propuestas que recientemente sean construido desde la filosofía y la teoría literaria alrededor de la noción de acontecimiento y la escritura de la historia.

    For the past three decades, the question regarding the event has gained steam in the intellectual horizon. What is percieved is the common idea that our epoch and its notion of time - be it narrative, mediatic, epistemologi, conceptual or historiographic- is going through a transformation; this essay pretends to describe the current "state of the question" of this discussion as it refers to historiography in particular. It will present the different moments in which the notion of "event" has been used, rejected, or reinterpreted as a way to make distinct observation of the past. This revision spans from the Posivitist Historiography of the XIX century all the way to Cultural History of recent times. The main interest of this essay lies in understanding some of the proposals that have recently been advanced from the fields of Philoshophy and Literacy Theory dealing with the notion of the event and the writing of history.
