Resumen de ¿Dialectalismo y/o tecnicismo?: una mirada al léxico especializado de la minería del siglo XIX

El análisis del léxico del siglo XIX ha sido una parcela de nuestra lengua objeto de numerosos estudios en tiempos recientes, a causa de la ampliación y renovación a que fue sometido este desde el ámbito de la ciencia y de la técnica. Reflejada esta situación muchas veces en la historia de la lexicografía, los diccionarios de la época, académicos o no, vieron la necesidad de incluir aquellas voces en sus páginas. En unos casos se crearon e inventaron nuevos referentes que había que nombrar, en otros, sin embargo, cambiaron denominaciones de objetos, acciones o referentes ya existentes, pero que el avance científico modificó y, a veces, internacionalizó. Pretendemos, por tanto, analizar el léxico de la minería del siglo XIX, con el fin de estudiar los tecnicismos que emanaron a causa de su modernización y comprobaremos la convivencia de este con el léxico tradicional que lo había caracterizado, clasificado en ocasiones desde el ámbito dialectal, dada la diversidad geográfica de las cuencas mineras hispanas.

The analysis of the lexicon of the 19th century has been an area of the language subject to numerous studies nowadays. This is due to the expansion and renovation it has suffered from the field of science and technology. Moreover, it has been reflected many times in the history of lexicography as the dictionaries of that time, whether they were considered academic or not, urged to include it in its pages. In some cases new models were created and invented that had to be appointed; in others, however, names of objects, actions or existing models were changed, but scientific progress modified this as well and, sometimes, internationalized. We intend, therefore, to analyze the lexicon of mining in the 19th century, in order to study the technical terms that resulted because of modernization, and to check their coexistence with the traditional vocabulary that had characterized it, rated at times from the dialectal field given the geographical diversity of the Hispanic coalfields.
