El presente trabajo hace un análisis del reconocimiento y conceptualización de los derechos sexuales y reproductivos desde una perspectiva de igualdad y no discriminación en el Derecho Internacional de los Derechos Humanos (DIDH). De igual manera, resalta la construcción hecha por la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos sobre los estándares de protección en la materia, tomando como referencia las dos emblemáticas sentencias que ha emitido al respecto: Atala Riffo e hijas Vs. Chile y Artavia Murillo y otros (Fertilización in vitro) Vs. Costa Rica.
This work makes a recognition and conceptualization analysis of sexual and reproductive rights from a perspective of equality and non-discrimination in the International Human Rights Law. Also, the article highlights the protection standards developed by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, taking as reference two emblematic judgments that the Court has issued in the matter: The case of Atala Riffo and Niñas v. Chile and the case of Artavia Murillo et al.(In Vitro Fertilization) v. Costa Rica
