    Se describen cuatro especies de la familia Cephalobidae, precedentes de áreas naturales de la provincia de Kerman, en el sureste de lrán: Acrobeles mariannae, Acrobeloides bodenheimeri, Ceroidellus vexilligery Chiloplacus magnus.

    Se aportan descripciones, medidas e ilustraciones de todas ellas. Acrobeles mariannae y Acrobeloides bodenheimeri se citan por vez primera en Irán. Se presenta un estudio molecular de las secuencias del gen 18S ADNr de las species A.

    mariannae, A. bodenheimeri, C. vexilliger y Zeldia spannata, y se discuten los resultados obtenidos, concluyéndose que Acrobeloides es un taxon parafilético

    Four species of the family Cephalobidae are described from natural areas in Kerman province, south-eastem Iran: Acrobeles mariannae, Acrobeloides bodenheimeri, Ceroidellus vexilliger and Chiloplacus magnus. Descriptions, measurements and illustrations are provided for all of them. Acrobeles mariannae and Acrobeloides bodenheimeri are recorded for the first time from Iran. A molecular study of 18S rDNA gene sequences is presented for A. mariannae, A. bodenheimeri, C. vexilliger and Zeldia spannata, and the results obtained are discussed, concluding that Acrobeloides is a paraphyletic taxon.
