  • Resumen
    • The article discusses the continued significance of former U.S. secretary of state Henry Kissinger in international relations during the early 21st century. The author argues that the U.S. was confused in its foreign policy strategy during the early 21st century and should return to Kissinger's approach. It examines the foreign policy concept of realism often associated with Kissinger, Kissinger's rejection of the concept of idealism as advanced by former U.S. president Woodrow Wilson, and the importance of history in the decisionmaking process of foreign policy. It also discusses Kissinger's writings, Kissinger's Cold War policy strategy of the 1960s and 1970s, and the refusal of U.S. president Barack Obama to consult Kissinger
