  • Resumen
    • In this article we wish to present a new Microsoft Excel spreadsheet design that enables a prompt calculation of rate constant values (k) and associated errors and also addresses less common features such as the choice of experimental curve's extent. The step-by-step description of the design provides the opportunity to deal with other, less used, Excel tools. The performed direct calculation of uncertainties, via established formulas, offers the possibility of acquiring an insightful knowledge of statistical and numerical analysis theory and its practical application on spreadsheet designs. Selected examples, given as Supplemental Material, provide the chance to directly interact with the devised spreadsheet before the user starts to construct his or her own spreadsheet.
