RESEARCH into canine glaucoma being conducted by the Animal Health Trust (AHT) received a boost recently when more than 50 border collies and their owners visited the trust's premises near Newmarket. The dogs' owners allowed eye examinations and DNA swabs to be taken from their animals as part of a six-year research study being carried out by the AHT with the aim of developing DNA tests to identify dogs at risk of developing inherited glaucoma....
