OV services: TB contracts: BVA and BCVA call for more time

  • THE BVA and British Cattle Veterinary Association (BCVA) have written to the Secretary of State at Defra, Elizabeth Truss, calling for veterinary practices in England wanting to subcontract to a Delivery Partner to provide TB testing services to be given more time to consider the contracts they are being offered.

    In the letter to the Secretary of State, the two organisations say that contracts began to be issued to potential subcontracting private practices in mid-April, to be reviewed and signed by April 24, with a start date of May 1. ‘Subsequent revisions have been received as late as April 22,’ they add.
