Resumen de New CEO for Langford Veterinary Services

  • Richard Hammond (right) has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of Langford Veterinary Services (LVS), which delivers clinical and commercial services for the School of Veterinary Sciences at the University of Bristol.

    Professor Hammond joined the University of Bristol as professor of clinical sciences and deputy head of the veterinary school to support the implementation of a new curriculum and the management of the school. He subsequently took on responsibility for enterprise and strategic development.

    Professor Hammond, who has been acting CEO of LVS, said that he was delighted to be taking up the position on a permanent basis: ‘LVS has an excellent track record of delivering high-quality clinical services in a commercially successful way, together with providing the learning environment needed for undergraduate and postgraduate clinical teaching and research,’ he said.
